Pitch Oscilloscope
- The Pitch Oscilloscope module visualises audio waveforms, making it ideal for viewing signals from oscillators and other processors.
- It uses the Pitch signal and note-on events (Note Info in Poly mode and MIDI in Mono mode) to lock onto the waveform.
- A mismatch between the signal and waveform prevents proper tracking.
- In Poly mode, it displays the waveform of the last triggered Voice.
- It's currently a Mela Lab module and might be integrated into the existing Oscilloscope module in the future.
- Pitch Oscilloscope is added to Collection 2 so that users who have the Oscilloscope unlocked will also have this module unlocked.

A use suggested that the Oscilloscope could also show the DAW grid. Adding it here as a reminder for when I get to this issue.

A 'zoom' option for the existing oscilloscope could be handy indeed.
And I can't help to think about a 'freeze' option for the oscilloscope that would allow us to save the buffer as a new audio-file with basic 'snap to beat' options when selecting the area to save.
I know, total overkill as Mela 4 is not a 'sampler'.

Samuel Lindeman: Live sampling could be a cool idea, I was thinking doing a MIDI recorder module at some point, for easy drag and drop into a DAW. To get around, Logic Pro limitations for example. And sampling audio could be cool too.
But regarding Oscilloscope specifically, I had plans to add auto-zoom level based on the Pitch signal coming in. It could sample it every screen frame rates and show what sort of waveforms oscillators/filters are generating.

Nikolozi: Cool, I think it would be enough to use a 'threshold' setting (ie. adjustable above or bellow zero) which triggers the wave/cycle-drawing to draw one cycle at the current frequency. (so at a zero setting it would be free-running).
For inspiration check out auScope from the developer of auGen X.
The oscilloscope in Drambo is pretty capable too... (especially the one you summon by long-tapping on any output).
Cheers!
