Mela Lab Module: Feedback
in progress
Nikolozi
- In Mela, signals flow left-to-right within a lane and top-to-bottom between lanes. Sometimes, however, you may want to send an Audio signal in the opposite direction to create feedback.
- The Feedback module allows you to do just that by taking the output of an Audio bus, delaying it by 1 sample, and merging it with the Audio signal passing through the lane.
- To keep feedback under control, the module has a built-in hard clipper that limits the maximum output level to +6dBFS.
- At the moment feedback doesn't work with the Poly signal type, i.e. it auto-collapses it to Audio, but I plan to support it once Audio buses can transmit Poly.
- Feedback is a Mela Lab module and part of Collection 4.

Build 431
- Similar to Digital Delay, the Feedback module now has a built-in hard clipper that limits the maximum output level to +6dBFS, to keep feedback under control.
- Modules like Clipper and Meter can be used to manage and monitor levels in the feedback path.
